Black Clover Reaches Final Arc After 11 Years, Asta vs Yuno Wizard King Battle Unfolds in Triple Chapter Release

It has been officially announced by Shueisha that the manga Black Clover will reach its story climax in the May 1 issue of Jump GIGA 2026 SPRING. The series will appear on the cover and feature a lead color spread, with three consecutive chapters published at once. These chapters will depict the decisive battle between Asta and Yuno to determine the next Wizard King. After 11 years since its serialization began in 2015, the story is finally heading into its conclusion.

A Long Running Fantasy Journey About Growth and Rivalry

Black Clover is a magical fantasy story set in a world where magic is everything. It follows Asta, a boy born without magic, and his rival Yuno as they strive to become the Wizard King, the strongest mage. The series began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015 and has been published in Jump GIGA since December 2023. It has become a major hit, surpassing 19 million copies in circulation.


Global Success Across Anime and Film Adaptations

The TV anime adaptation aired from 2017 to 2021 and later achieved the number one viewing rank in 87 countries and regions worldwide. The franchise expanded further with a theatrical film in 2023, stage adaptations, and a second season of the TV anime scheduled to air in 2026.

The May 1 issue of Jump GIGA 2026 SPRING will feature the headline “Story Climax!” on its cover. It will also include a special interview between creator Yuki Tabata and voice actor Gakuto Kajiwara, who plays Asta. Bonus items include a canvas style art board featuring a lead color illustration from Black Clover, as well as collaboration items such as a Jujutsu Kaisen Shinjuku Battle clear file, illustrated postcards by Yuji Iwasaki featuring “Veteran Soldier Yuji Itadori” and Mahito, and a special collaboration sticker drawn by Tadatoshi Fujimaki for Killao and Kuroko’s Basketball.
