To LOVE Ru Yui Kotegawa Figure Stuns Fans With Its Striking Wet Look

Manga artist Kentaro Yabuki, known for popular works including To LOVE Ru and BLACK CAT, updated his X account on August 13 and revealed a figure of Yui Kotegawa, one of the popular characters from To LOVE Ru.

To commemorate the publication of a new To LOVE Ru one shot in Jump GIGA 2026 SUMMER, which goes on sale August 17, a figure based on a newly drawn illustration of Yui Kotegawa will be offered through a limited mail order sale exclusively for purchasers of the magazine.

Yabuki shared a preview of the figure, writing, “Here is a sneak peek at the figure available through the exclusive mail order offer for purchasers of Jump GIGA 2026 SUMMER! Prototype sculpting: Akabeko. Coloring: Nana Moriyama. Production cooperation: Union Creative Co., Ltd.”

The figure recreates Yabuki’s original illustration, prompting reactions online such as, “This is the height of indecency,” “The wet, see through effect is incredible. It is a work of art,” and “At this level, I would definitely consider buying it.”

About To LOVE Ru

One of Yabuki’s best known works, To LOVE Ru, was serialized in the same magazine from 2006 to 2009. The romantic comedy follows high school student Rito Yuki and heroines including Lala Satalin Deviluke and Haruna Sairenji.

The popular series was also adapted into a television anime that aired from 2008 to 2009. After the original manga concluded, its sequel, To LOVE Ru Darkness, was serialized in Shueisha’s Jump SQ. from 2010 to 2017.
