From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman II Episode 2 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Signs of Change for Mewi

The story and preview images for Episode 2 of the TV anime From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman (JP: 片田舎のおっさん、剣聖になる, Katainaka no Ossan kensei ni Naru) Season 2 have been revealed. This episode will air on Wednesday, July 15 at 11:45 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms. Along with the episode details, a special action movie produced with the full effort of the production staff has also been released.

Episode 2 Story

Beryl, who has taken on the role of temporary instructor, struggles with how to teach Ficelle, who is poor at teaching, how to instruct others. Meanwhile, Mewi does not seem to be fitting in well with her classmates. However, during the lunch break, an interaction with Cindy shows signs of change. At a small party that is held, Beryl smiles warmly at the growth of Mewi and Ficelle. At that moment, an unusual incident occurs at the Magic Academy.

Introduction

Beryl Gardinant, a humble countryside sword instructor, was finally adapting to daily life in the capital. He now spent his days serving as a special instructor for the chivalric order and acting as a guardian for an orphan.
