Arc was continuing his journey toward the "Wind Dragon Mountains," where the "spring to dispel the curse" is said to be located, along with the elven warrior Ariane, the beastkin ninja Chiyome, and the spirit beast Ponta. As he repeatedly helps people due to his inability to ignore those in trouble, he visits a certain village far away from his destination, the Wind Dragon Mountains. However, upon seeing Arc and his companions, the villagers all uniformly flee in fear...

Introduction

When Arc woke up, he found himself thrown into another world in the exact form of the MMORPG character he used to play. His appearance was that of a "Skeleton Knight"—wearing armor on the outside, but underneath, his entire body was a literal skeleton.

"If anyone finds out what I really am, they might mistake me for a monster and turn me into a subjugation target?!"

Arc resolves to live quietly as a mercenary to avoid drawing attention to himself. However, he is not the type of man who can just stand by and ignore evil happening right in front of his eyes!
