Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Confirmed for July Broadcast, Teaser PV and Key Visual Released
Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 has been officially confirmed to air in July, marking the long awaited return of the popular isekai fantasy anime. Alongside the announcement, a teaser promotional video and a new key visual have been released.

The teaser PV highlights the series’ signature fast paced battle action while also showcasing the parody elements that became a major appeal in Season 1. The footage captures the unique tone of the series, blending exhilarating combat with lighthearted humor that fans have come to expect.
The story follows Arc, a man who falls asleep while playing an MMORPG and awakens in an unfamiliar fantasy world in the form of his in game character. Arc appears as a fully armored skeleton knight, with armor on the outside and a skeletal body beneath. To avoid being hunted as a monster, he decides to live quietly while enjoying life in another world. However, his kind nature prevents him from ignoring injustice, and he repeatedly becomes involved in righting wrongs during his travels.
The original anime’s first season aired from April to June 2022, earning praise for its balance of action, comedy, and classic isekai adventure.

The promotional video is styled to resemble The Unfettered Shogun (暴れん坊将軍, Abarenbo Shogun), a classic period drama that has long been popular in Japan. In the YouTube comment section, viewers have responded with remarks such as “There is no way not to laugh at this.” The Unfettered Shogun has also been featured in collaboration projects, including a promotional video for Uma Musume.
