Classroom of the Elite Season 5 Officially Confirmed; Newly Drawn Key Visual Revealed

The production of the TV anime Classroom of the Elite Season5 (commonly abbreviated as You-Zitsu) has been officially announced. Along with the confirmation of the sequel, a newly drawn anime visual celebrating the announcement has been released.

The series is based on the highly popular light novel that first began publication under MF Bunko J in 2015, which has now surpassed a cumulative total of 8.4 million copies in circulation. Set at Tokyo Advanced Nurturing High School—an institution that prides itself on a strict and thorough meritocracy—the story follows the protagonist, Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, and his classmates. They are assigned to Class 1-D, the absolute bottom tier of the school that is often ridiculed as a dumping ground for "defective products."

The final episode of the franchise's fourth installment, 4th Season: 2nd Year Arc - 1st Semester, aired today on the 24th.
