Classroom of the Elite 4th Season Episode 8 Story & Preview Cuts Released: The Deserted Island Survival Exam Begins

The story and preview images for Episode 8 of the TV anime Classroom of the Elite (JP: ようこそ実力至上主義の教室へ) Season 4 (2nd Year Arc, 1st Semester) have been revealed. This episode will air on Friday, April 29 at 10:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 8 Story

The deserted island survival exam, where students from all grades compete for points, has finally begun.

Each student is equipped with a wristwatch for constant monitoring. Groups aim to achieve high scores by either maintaining basic movement across the island or completing specific tasks set up at various locations.

Acting Director Tsukishiro has indicated a policy of allowing a certain degree of skirmishing between students, but there may be more to the situation.

Introduction

Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School is a dream-like institution boasting a 100% advancement and employment rate, where students are granted points equivalent to 100,000 yen every month. However, its true nature is a strict meritocracy where only a handful of top-performing students receive such favorable treatment.

After being promoted to Class C during the third term of their first year, Ayanokoji and his classmates suffered a narrow defeat in the final special exam, resulting in a demotion back to Class D. Now, they must start their second year from the very bottom once again.

Following spring break, relationships are shifting: Ayanokoji has entered a romantic relationship with Karuizawa, while Horikita has finally bid farewell to the version of herself that lived in the shadow of her brilliant older brother, Manabu. As these bonds evolve, the students officially advance to their second year.

The first special exam for the new second-year students is a written test where they must pair up with incoming freshmen. However, among the new students lurks an assassin from the White Room, sent by Tsukishiro...
