■Appearance
Jin wears glasses and suits, giving him the appearance of an intelligent Japanese yakuza figure. He constantly has a sharp glare and rarely shows emotion, maintaining a nearly expressionless poker face at all times.
■Personality
Although his eyes make him appear intimidating, Jin speaks in a polite and respectful manner. He uses courteous language even toward younger characters such as Asa and Gabby, as well as toward Yuru despite being on opposing sides.
Background

Jin’s parents divorced before he was born, and he lived with his mother, Akane, through part of his student years.
However, his mother eventually left with another man after telling Jin to go to the Kagemori family. She also took the child support money that Gonzo had been sending. With nowhere else to turn, Jin sought refuge with his father’s family.
Gonzo then introduced Jin to Hikaru and Asuma, telling them to get along with their younger brother.
Confused by how quickly he was accepted, Jin asked why they trusted someone who had only just arrived. In response, he was told that Asagiri, the Tsugai contracted to Asuma, had previously investigated Jin’s birth and confirmed without doubt that he was truly Gonzo’s son.
Abilities

Jin was also the commander responsible for directing Higashimura’s assault during the early part of the story, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills over his subordinates. In addition, he possesses extremely high combat ability.
He is highly skilled in the use of firearms and explosives, and fully utilizes his Tsugai’s powers to overwhelm even large groups of enemies with ease. Jin is also a capable strategist. By using the tracking abilities of Hidari and Migi, he successfully devised a plan to temporarily capture Yuru after Yuru followed Asa’s scent.
■Tsugai: Scavenger
Voice Actor: Ayumu Murase
Scavenger is Jin’s contracted Tsugai.
The pair resemble anglerfish, with the smaller one named Makoto-kun and the larger one named Ai-chan.
Ai-chan can disguise herself as a human through the use of her lure and swallow virtually anything. Makoto kun can then spit out whatever Ai chan has consumed. During combat, Makoto kun can release multiple weapons at once, allowing Jin to appear completely unarmed.
Anything swallowed by Ai chan becomes undetectable by any form of search or surveillance. This allows Jin to infiltrate almost any location without carrying visible equipment, while also making it possible to erase people or objects without leaving any trace behind.
Using this ability, Jin secretly carries out assassinations and disposes of bodies that cannot be publicly handled, taking on many of the Kagemori family’s dirtiest and most secretive tasks.
One of Scavenger’s greatest strengths is its ability to store massive amounts of weaponry, effectively functioning as a portable armory that Jin can bring anywhere. It remains unknown whether there is any limit to its storage capacity.
Trivia
When Jin first joined the Kagemori family, he felt guilty about being an outsider. As a sign of respect and accountability, he intended to address Gonzo with the formal title “Oyakata-sama.”
However, Gonzo wanted Jin to call him “Dad” instead, leading to a compromise where Jin began calling him “Oyassan.”
