Global Gundam Poll 2025 Results: ν Gundam Tops Worldwide Rankings Across Three Categories with Over 1.33 Million Votes

Global Gundam Poll 2025 results have been officially revealed, with ν Gundam claiming the top spot across multiple rankings worldwide.

ν Gundam Dominates Global and Regional Rankings

To celebrate the launch of the official Gundam series website, the “Global Gundam Poll 2025” announced its final results. The ν Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack secured first place in three major categories: the global ranking, the Japanese ranking, and the Traditional Chinese Hong Kong ranking.

Voting took place from October 10 to December 25, 2025, gathering more than 1.33 million valid votes from around the world across 10 languages. Alongside the results, seven newly illustrated artworks featuring the top ranked Gundams from each category were also unveiled.

First Global Multi Language Gundam Voting Project

This poll marked the first official Gundam voting project conducted globally in 10 languages. Eligible entries included Gundam type mobile suits and units bearing the Gundam name from both the Universal Century series and alternative timelines, as featured on the GUNDAM Official Website.

Participants were allowed to vote once per day, and rankings were compiled based on global voting data. The results include both worldwide rankings and rankings by language.

Special Awards Announced

In addition to the rankings, four Gundams received special awards:

The Shining Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam, ranked 78th globally, received the RX 78 Award, referencing the iconic RX 78 2 Gundam.

The Gundam AGE 2 Dark Hound from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, ranked 105th, was honored with the Mafty Award, referencing the Universal Century year 0105, the setting of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe .

The Ground Type Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, ranked 47th, received the Gundam 47th Anniversary Award.

The Nether Gundam (Hurricane Gundam) from Mobile Fighter G Gundam, ranked 25th and long anticipated by fans, was awarded the Neo Holland Award.

The Japanese ranking largely mirrored the global results, with ν Gundam again taking first place, followed by Wing Gundam Zero and Z Gundam. Notably, the Red Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX ranked 9th.
