Baki-Dou Part 2 to Stream on Netflix Worldwide with Teaser PV and Visual Revealed

It has been announced that the anime Baki-Dou (JP: 刃牙道) will continue with its second cour, which will also be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix. Alongside this announcement, a teaser promotional video and teaser visual have been released.

Teaser PV Highlights Miyamoto Musashi’s Overwhelming Presence

The teaser PV opens with a striking image of Miyamoto Musashi, exuding an overwhelming aura, accompanied by the memorable line from Izou Motobe stating that no one has yet witnessed Musashi at full strength. The video vividly portrays Motobe’s determination to protect the underground arena fighters from Musashi.

The footage also features powerful scenes of characters such as Jack Hanma and Gaia, as well as Pickle fiercely confronting Musashi and Kaoru Hanayama delivering a full force blow while gripping his opponent’s neck. Each character’s overwhelming individuality and strength collide, creating a tense and gripping atmosphere.

Visual Emphasizes Clash of Ideals and Strength

The teaser visual for the second cour features the catchphrases Hofuru (屠る), Kiri Noboru (斬り登る), and Mamoru (守護る). It depicts Baki Hanma with a sharp gaze and quiet intensity, Miyamoto Musashi with a fierce expression as if about to strike, and Izou Motobe with a cold yet resolute look.

Through their contrasting expressions and perspectives, the visual highlights both stillness and motion, as well as the clash of ideologies surrounding what it means to be the strongest.

About the Original Work

Baki-Dou is based on the manga by Keisuke Itagaki, serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion from 2014 to 2018. The story takes place after the conclusion of the legendary strongest parent and child battle. Animation production continues to be handled by TMS Entertainment, following Baki and Baki Hanma.
