The story and preview images for Episode 10 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (JP: 葬送のフリーレン, Sousou no Frieren) Season 2, which marks Episode 38 overall, have been released. Episode 38 Story
The final episode centers on a massive bridge spanning the Toa Great Valley, constructed over more than 200 years by the dwarf Gehen. Hidden within the bridge is a secret story from the past involving Himmel and Gehen. Afterward, Frieren and her companions arrive at the Schmal Snowfields, where they accept a monster subjugation request to earn travel funds. Meanwhile, a lone first-class mage visits a certain place.

In Episode 38, Frieren reunites with the dwarf Gehen, whom she once met during her past journey with Himmel and the others. The massive bridge he spent over 200 years building holds an untold story involving Himmel and Gehen. The episode also depicts the scenery that Frieren and her party encounter upon arriving at the Schmal Snowfields.

Serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday, Frieren Beyond Journey’s End is a “post-adventure fantasy” that depicts what happens after the hero’s party defeats the Demon King. The story follows Frieren, an elven mage, as she embarks on a new journey with new companions in a world after the hero’s death.
