Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly Episode 1 Story & Preview Cuts Released: The Newest Entry in the Studio Pierrot Magical Girl Series Begins

The story and preview images for Episode 1 of the TV anime Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly (JP: 魔法の姉妹ルルットリリィ) have been revealed. This episode will air on Sunday, April 5 at 10:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Additionally, it has been announced that the "Song Collection & Soundtrack" album, featuring music from the series, will be released on June 24. This collection includes various songs and background music that bring the world of the anime to life, allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in its atmosphere.

Furthermore, a special limited two-week advance screening of Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly will take place at 10 Aeon Cinema locations in Japan from March 20 to April 2. This event will feature screenings of Episodes 1 and 2 of the new series, as well as Episode 1 of the original Studio Pierrot magical girl classic, Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel. A new addition to the screening program has also been confirmed: "Uguisu and Azuki's After-Talk (Advance Screening Ver.)."

To celebrate the upcoming premiere, the official X account for the series has been posting a relay of daily illustrations featuring the heroines from all six installments of the "Studio Pierrot Magical Girl Series," from Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel to the latest entry, Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly. As the grand finale of this countdown, a "Heroine Ensemble Visual" featuring all the historic series heroines together has been released.

Episode 1 Story

Fuu Nonoyama loves her older middle-school sister, Rui. However, lately they have been spending less time together, leaving Fuu feeling lonely. One day, Fuu encounters a flying spaceship. After desperately chasing it and climbing aboard, she discovers inhabitants from a world of magic!

Introduction

Fuu Nonoyama is an innocent elementary school student who can't wait for summer vacation. Her sister, Rui Nonoyama, is a reserved but hardworking middle schooler. Although they used to be close, the emotional distance between them has recently begun to grow.

One day, Fuu encounters a mysterious spaceship and is bestowed with magical powers. Meanwhile, Rui also happens to obtain a wonderful magical power of her own. Both sisters gain the ability to transform into the adult forms they have always admired.

However, there are two strict rules:
The power is only for a one-year period.
They must never let anyone find out about the magic.

Before long, without realizing each other's secrets, both sisters begin to make their mark on the world as active idols—!
