Capcom to Open New Interactive Entertainment Facility “CAPCOMIX Abeno Hoop” in Osaka Featuring VR, Game Activities, and Character Goods

CAPCOMIX Abeno Hoop, a new Capcom interactive entertainment facility, will open in Osaka in spring 2026. The venue will feature digital activities themed around popular Capcom characters, VR experiences, and a character merchandise shop.

Capcom announced on March 9 that it will open the experiential amusement facility CAPCOMIX Abeno Hoop at the commercial complex Hoop located in front of Tennoji Station in Abeno Ward, Osaka. Along with the announcement, the company revealed an image visual for the new location.

The facility will allow visitors to enjoy digital attractions themed around Capcom’s popular characters, a feature not available in its previous venues. One of the main attractions is the large scale physical activity Crazy BANeT, which can be enjoyed by both children and adults. At the new venue, it will appear as Crazy BANeT with CAPCOM ALL STARS.

Other attractions include VR X, where visitors can experience Capcom’s original VR content, as well as DIVE! CAPCOM, an experiential area where guests can see, touch, and play with the latest Capcom information and titles. The facility will also house Characap, a comprehensive character goods shop offering a wide selection of items centered on Capcom game characters.

Combining physical activities, digital attractions, and shopping experiences, the venue is designed as a next generation amusement space where visitors can enjoy entertainment that stimulates both mind and body.

Crazy BANeT with CAPCOM ALL STARS
A large digital activity zone featuring attractions themed around Capcom’s popular characters. Activities include Street Fighter Shoryuken Jump and Monster Hunter Archery, along with a variety of other interactive play equipment.

VR X
VR X is a VR attraction facility operated at Capcom amusement locations. At CAPCOMIX Abeno Hoop, visitors can experience three VR titles.

Characap is a comprehensive character goods specialty store offering not only merchandise from Capcom games but also a wide variety of character items from other franchises. The shop will also be available inside CAPCOMIX Abeno Hoop.

Amusement Area
The venue will also include a large amusement zone equipped with the latest machines from multiple genres. Visitors can enjoy crane games featuring prizes based on popular characters, photo sticker machines, and video game cabinets.
