Blue Box Volume 24 Release Celebrated with Special PV Featuring Anime Season 1 Ending Theme “Teenage Blue”

Blue Box marks the release of its 24th manga volume with a newly unveiled special promotional video that highlights the emotional core of the series.

A Special PV Celebrating Youth and Graduation

The 24th volume of the manga Blue Box, written by Koji Miura, was released on February 4. To commemorate the occasion, a special promotional video has been released using a newly recorded version of the ending theme from the first cour of the anime Season 1, titled Teenage Blue by Eve.

Centered on the theme of heroine Chinatsu Kano’s high school graduation, the PV looks back on her school life so far, including her dedication to club activities, romance, and friendships. These visuals are paired with an acoustic version of Teenage Blue that Eve newly produced specifically for this project, expressing a youth filled to the brim with unforgettable moments.

With lyrics that evoke major turning points in life, Teenage Blue has earned a strong reputation as a modern graduation song. Set against this new version of the track, the PV captures the enduring appeal of Blue Box, a title that continues to enjoy immense popularity in Weekly Shonen Jump.

About Blue Box

Blue Box is a youth sports romance series that has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since April 2021. The story begins when Taiki Inomata, a member of the boys badminton team, develops feelings for Chinatsu Kano, an upperclassman on the girls basketball team, after they find themselves alone together every morning during early practice at the gym. One spring, as they advance to the next school year, an event occurs that dramatically changes the distance between them.

Through relatable characters who devote themselves wholeheartedly to their respective sports while carrying their own feelings, the series delicately portrays both youthful determination and the subtle emotional shifts that come with falling in love.

Since its debut, the manga has drawn significant attention from readers. It received the Global Special Award at the Next Manga Awards 2021 and ranked fourth in the Nationwide Bookstore Staff Recommended Comics 2022. The series has surpassed 9.6 million copies in circulation and has also been featured in a collaboration with Asahi Soft Drinks’ Calpis brand in November 2022.

The television anime Season 1 aired from October 2024 to March 2025. A second season is scheduled to broadcast in autumn 2026.
