The television anime Blue Box has officially been greenlit for a second season. Alongside the announcement, a special Season 2 promotional video has been released, featuring the character voice of Chinatsu Kano as performed by Reina Ueda.

The PV compiles memorable scenes of the three main characters—Taiki, Chinatsu, and Hina—brought to life with a newly recorded, soft and expressive voice performance by Reina Ueda. Fans can enjoy this tender portrayal as a preview of the emotional depth the second season promises to deliver.

Following the Season 1 broadcast, a new end card illustration was also unveiled. Drawn by character designer and chief animation director Miho Tanino, the image captures Taiki and Chinatsu gazing gently at each other. Their expressions reflect the changes in their relationship, evoking the warmth and subtlety that has become a hallmark of the series. The meeting scene depicted at the beginning of the anime is reimagined in this touching visual.

Further details about Season 2 will be announced at a later date.

Based on the manga by Kouji Miura, currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), Blue Box has become a fan-favorite since its debut in April 2021. The story delicately portrays the heartfelt emotions of youth—especially the nuances of falling in love—through the lens of students devoted to their sports clubs.
