You Can't Be in a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! Episode 3 story & Preview Cuts Released: Shio Gets Locked Alone in the Gym Storage Room

The story and preview images for Episode 3 of the TV anime You Can't Be in a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! (JP: 幼馴染とはラブコメにならない) have been revealed. This episode will air on Tuesday, January 20 at 12:00 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 2 Story

Eiyu finds out that Shio and Akari have discovered he has been secretly collecting the romantic comedy series My Childhood Friend Is Way Too Cute (俺の幼馴染が可愛すぎる). The next day, convinced that he will definitely be mocked for it, Eiyu ends up acting cold and distant toward Shio.

Although Shio feels down about his behavior, Akari encourages her to take a more assertive approach. Acting on this advice, Shio lies in wait for Eiyu at the gym storage room where he is assigned cleaning duty, hoping to recreate the infamous “Forbidden Gym Storage Room” scene from Ore-Osana.

However, things take an unexpected turn when Shio dozes off and ends up locked inside the gym storage room all by herself.
