Jujutsu Kaisen Reveals Newly Drawn Cover Featuring Yuji Itadori & Choso, SWITCH Dedicates 40-Page Special; 15 Key Cast Members Including Junya Enoki and Megumi Ogata Speak Out
The latest issue of SWITCH, released on the 20th, features a special spotlight on the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen. Showcasing a newly illustrated cover starring Yuji Itadori and Choso, the issue marks the anime’s fifth anniversary with an extensive 40-page feature. Through candid testimonies from the cast, the special looks back on the series’ journey so far, explores what lies ahead for Season 3, and delves deep into the enduring appeal of Jujutsu Kaisen.

In addition to members of Tokyo Jujutsu High — Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), and Mikako Komatsu (Maki Zenin) — the issue includes newly shot photos and interviews with Daisuke Namikawa (Choso) and Koji Yusa (Naoya Zenin). The cast discusses their thoughts on portraying their respective characters as well as key points to watch for in the upcoming third season. Interviews with Noriko Hidaka (Yuki Tsukumo) and Yoshiko Sakakibara (Tengen) are also featured.

Further interviews are presented all at once with Asami Seto (Nobara Kugisaki), Koki Uchiyama (Toge Inumaki), Tomokazu Seki (Panda), Subaru Kimura (Aoi Todo), Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo), Takahiro Sakurai (Suguru Geto), and Nobunaga Shimazaki (Mahito). While revisiting each character’s memorable appearances and standout moments, the actors reflect on the scenes that left the strongest impressions on them personally.

The feature also spotlights King Gnu, who once again provides music for the series following Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Season 2’s “Shibuya Incident” arc. Daiki Tsuneta speaks not only about the opening theme for Season 3, titled “AIZO,” but also about his favorite character scenes. In addition, jo0ji — who composed the ending theme “Yoake no Uta” — discusses the creative process behind crafting lyrics and melodies that resonate with Yuji Itadori’s inner emotions, as well as his personal connection to the work. Together, these elements make for a comprehensive and in-depth special feature.
