Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 50 (S3, EP3) Synopsis & Scene Images Released: What Is Noritoshi Kamo True Name?

The story and preview images for Episodes 50 of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 1 have been revealed. These episodes are scheduled to air on Friday, January 16 at 12:26 AM (JST), and will later be made available on streaming platforms in various regions.

Episode 50 Story

Still burdened by guilt over the mass murder in Shibuya, Yuji Itadori struggles to move forward. However, after hearing Megumi Fushiguro say, “Help me first,” Yuji regains his resolve and reunites with Yuki Tsukumo and the others who are hiding out at Jujutsu High.

Seeking answers on how to unseal Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm, as well as Kenjaku intentions and his next move, the group heads to the Tombs of the Star Corridor to meet Master Tengen. As Tengen responds to their questions, he begins to explain Kenjaku true name and the deadly sorcerer battle royale known as the Culling Game, a ritual he devised that forces those granted cursed techniques into a fight to the death.

Introduction

October 31, 2018.

As Halloween festivities fill the area around Shibuya Station, a mysterious “veil” suddenly descends, trapping countless civilians inside.

Entering the scene alone is Satoru Gojo, the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the modern era. However, curse users and cursed spirits plotting to seal Gojo are lying in wait. Yuji Itadori and many other jujutsu sorcerers gather in Shibuya, and an unprecedented large-scale clash of curses, the “Shibuya Incident,” begins.

The battle then leads into the deadly killing game known as the “Culling Game,” orchestrated by the worst sorcerer in history, Kenjaku (Noritoshi Kamo). After the Shibuya Incident, ten barriers across Japan turn into demon-infested colonies.

Amid this overwhelming chaos, special grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu stands in Yuji’s path as the appointed executioner of his death sentence. Even in despair, Yuji continues to fight on, while Okkotsu mercilessly turns his blade toward him. The chaos of curses accelerates.

Yuji and Yuta, two sorcerers who share the same teacher, are drawn into a fierce battle to the death——.
