New scenes from episode 5, titled "Even Eating Demons..." from the latest "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" anime, the "Hashira Training Arc," have been released.

In episode 5, thanks to Tanjiro’s efforts, Muichiro and the Demon Slayers grow closer through their training. After completing Muichiro’s training, Tanjiro heads to Mitsuri’s training area, where he finds the flexibility training far more challenging than it looks. Additionally, he undergoes training with Hashira Iguro and Sanemi.

The released iconic scene cuts showcase the fighting between the Shinazugawa brothers and Wind Hashira Sanemi losing his temper at Tanjiro’s attitude. The "Hashira Training Arc" in "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" covers episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, following Tanjiro and his companions as they undergo training with the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, to become stronger.

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," originally serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, has sold over 150 million copies of its manga. Set in the Taisho era, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to seek revenge and find a way to turn his demon-turned sister Nezuko back into a human.

The first season of the anime aired from April to September 2019, sparking immense popularity and becoming a social phenomenon. The film "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train," which continues from the final episode of the anime, was released in October 2020 and grossed over 40 billion yen domestically. The second season, "Entertainment District Arc," aired from December 2021, and the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," began airing in April 2023.
