The series is based on the manga of the same name by Agasawa Kocha, which has surpassed 160 million views on LINE Manga and recorded total circulation of 2 million copies including digital editions. The story centers on Koyuki Hikawa, a high school girl who struggles with interpersonal relationships and instinctively builds emotional walls between herself and others.

Koyuki spends her quiet days keeping to herself, interacting only with her childhood friend Miki Azumi. Her routine begins to change when Minato Amamiya, a boy who unexpectedly closes the distance without hesitation, enters her life. Surrounding them are four distinct personalities: the solitary Koyuki, the school idol Miki, the boundaryless and overly frank Minato, and Yota, a gentle and calm member of the basketball team.

Awkward, frustrating, and yet deeply endearing, the series portrays a bittersweet coming of age story built on emotional miscommunication and the intersecting inner struggles of youth.

The newly revealed key visual captures Koyuki, Miki, Minato, and Yota on their way home from school. Bathed in the orange hues of the setting sun, the four turn back as if someone has called out to them, evoking a fleeting moment that feels like a single page torn from their Youth.

The first promotional video opens with Koyuki as a middle school student, reflecting on thoughts she has carried since the past. Hurtful words led her to avoid forming connections with others. The PV also depicts Miki struggling with the gap between how she is perceived and her true self, Minato’s unintentional arrogance despite treating everyone equally, and Yota suppressing his own feelings out of kindness toward others.

Each character carries a different concern, and the video delicately captures moments when their unspoken inner voices surface and emotions quietly begin to waver.
