The Dangers in My Heart Film Reveals First Ever “Primary COLOR” Live Scene with New Stills and Character Visuals, Momoka Terasawa Cast as Akira Momoyama
The Dangers in My Heart has unveiled brand new scene stills and character visuals from the upcoming theatrical anime film, set to be released on February 13. The newly revealed images focus on “Primary COLOR,” the band led by Kana Ichikawa, also known as Kyotaro Ichikawa’s older sister.

This marks the first time that “Primary COLOR’s” live performance scene has been adapted into animated footage. Alongside the visuals, it was also announced that Akira Momoyama, affectionately known as Momo chan, will be voiced by Momoka Terasawa.

The newly released stills depict moments in a live house backstage, where the band members spend time together in a relaxed and natural atmosphere, as well as expressive shots of them enjoying their performance on stage. These scenes highlight a different side of Kana Ichikawa, who is usually known for doting excessively on her younger brother Kyotaro. The visuals capture not only her contrasting presence on stage but also the chemistry and relationships among the band members, conveying the unique tension and unity of performing live.

Character Visuals and Momoka Terasawa’s Comment
The newly unveiled character visuals introduce the members of “Primary COLOR.” Akira Momoyama, nicknamed Momo chan, is the drummer and is portrayed with black twin tails and a girly fashion style. The guitarist and composer Aoton is shown with a bob haircut and a preference for casual outfits, while the bassist Hinako stands out with her trademark blonde hair.

Momoka Terasawa, who voices Akira Momoyama, shared her thoughts on joining the project. She commented that she was thrilled when she learned she would be involved with The Dangers in My Heart. Although Momo chan makes her first appearance in the anime through this theatrical film, Terasawa described her as a somewhat edgy girl with a strong personality who remains strangely lovable. She also noted that the role was a new challenge for her, which she embraced with enjoyment. In addition, Terasawa revealed that she also performed the harmony vocals for the in film song “Tsuzuku.”

The Dangers in My Heart is based on the manga currently serialized on Manga Cross by Akita Shoten. The series has gained widespread acclaim, ranking for two consecutive years in This Manga Is Amazing! for the male readers category and winning first place in the Web Manga division of the Next Manga Awards 2020. The story is a youth romantic comedy centered on Kyotaro Ichikawa, a socially withdrawn boy, and Anna Yamada, a beautiful yet naturally charming girl. The manga has surpassed 7 million copies in circulation. The television anime aired its first season in 2023, followed by the second season in 2024.
