Alongside the announcement, new visuals featuring the Mountain King Yang Duan He and her right hand warrior Bajio were revealed, both depicted covered in blood from battle. In addition, a recap video reviewing episodes one through thirteen of Season 6 has been released.

As the State of Qin advances toward the unification of China, its campaign to seize western Zhao from the Black Sheep Hills is thwarted by the strategies of Zhao great general Li Mu. Forced to target the heavily fortified stronghold of Ye near Zhao territory, Qin forms a massive allied force combining the armies of Wang Jian, Huan Yi, and Yang Duan He. At the same time, young commanders Xin, who wields Wang Qi sword, along with Wang Ben and Meng Tian, operate as independent units as Qin and Zhao plunge into full scale war. The first part of Season 6 concluded with episode thirteen, which aired late on the twenty seventh.

Production of the Kingdom Season 6 sequel was announced shortly thereafter. In the upcoming continuation, the battle over Gyou intensifies even further, with the clash of pride between Yang Duan He, known as the Death King of the Mountain Realm, and Rozo, king of the Quanrong tribe, becoming a central focus of the story.

Yang Duan He commands the fierce mountain tribes through overwhelming charisma, while Rozo rules the descendants of the Quanrong, a foreign people who once destroyed the Zhou dynasty in Zhao territory. How these two kings will confront each other, and whether Qin can overcome the impregnable fortress of Gyou, are questions that fuel rising anticipation for the sequel, where raw instinct and unyielding pride collide.
