Yona of the Dawn has officially concluded after a 16 year serialization, while simultaneously delighting fans with the announcement of a sequel anime project. The popular manga written by Mizuho Kusanagi reached its final chapter in issue No. 2 of Hana to Yume, released on the 19th by Hakusensha, marking the end of a journey that began in 2009.

Alongside the publication of the final chapter, it was revealed that a sequel anime is currently in production. The announcement was made in the same issue of Hana to Yume through a color page declaring that production has been decided, with further details to be announced at a later date.
