In addition, comments from key cast members have arrived, including Joji Nakata as Giroro Sergeant, Takehito Koyasu as Kururu Corporal, Takeshi Kusao as Dororo Corporal, Chiaki Saito as Natsumi Hinata, and Akiko Hiramatsu as Aki Hinata, each sharing their excitement for the new film.

The teaser trailer opens with a scene reminiscent of Episode 1 of the television anime, showing five alien figures descending from a UFO floating in the sky. This is followed by the nostalgic line, “Citizens of Pekopon, we have finally returned, sir!” The mood then shifts to Keroro Sergeant cleaning the Hinata household where he is freeloading, highlighting his lazy daily life far removed from any serious invasion plans.

However, peace does not last. Keroro soon learns that Shibuya has fallen into chaos due to a new invader. Declaring, “Earth invasion is my exclusive right! I will not lose!”, Keroro reignites his fighting spirit. The trailer raises the question of whether he can truly stop the invasion of Earth.

Originally created by manga artist Mine Yoshizaki, Sgt. Frog is a comedy series serialized in Monthly Shonen Ace, depicting the antics caused by frog like alien invaders who arrive on Earth. The television anime aired for seven years starting in 2004, accompanied by five theatrical films and extensive multimedia expansion. In 2024, the franchise celebrated both the 25th anniversary of the manga and the 20th anniversary of the anime.
This new theatrical film is part of the anime 20th anniversary project. Fumitoshi Oizaki serves as director, Satoshi Koike handles character design, and animation production is led by BN Pictures. The main cast returns from previous installments, while the screenplay and chief direction are handled by Yuichi Fukuda, known for works such as the live action series Brave Yoshihiko and the Gintama film adaptations.
