Sgt. Frog Takes Over Shibuya with Massive Banner for "Anime Day" Celebrations
In celebration of "Anime Day" on October 22, a massive banner featuring Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunsou) from the Super Movie Keroro has appeared on the side of Shibuya Parkside Joint Building in Tokyo. The towering 15-meter banner will be on display until October 29 as part of Hulu's "BIG LOVE ANIME Hulu" campaign.

October 22 marks the release of Japan’s first full-color animated feature film The White Snake in 1958, which was created by Toei Animation. To honor this milestone, "Anime Day" was officially established in 2017 by the "Anime NEXT 100" project and registered with the Japan Anniversary Association.

As part of the celebrations, the "Shibuya Happy Board" is featuring giant panels of popular anime characters, creating a photo spot for fans. Characters include Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen, Mao Mao from The Apothecary Diaries, and Rin Okumura from Blue Exorcist, alongside several other fan-favorites. This display will run until October 27.
