The World Trigger REBOOT Project has officially been confirmed as a full remake anime, beginning from the very first chapter of the original manga and continuing through the start of the B Rank Wars Arc. The announcement was made on December 11 (JST) through the official World Trigger X account.

According to the official post, the REBOOT Project will adapt the following arcs as an entirely new anime production:

The story beginning with Chapter 1 of the manga
The Border Enlistment Arc
The Large-Scale Invasion Arc
The B Rank Wars Arc – Beginning Phase

The project is described as a “completely new” remake, reanimating the early World Trigger saga with modern visuals and direction while restructuring it as a new and upgraded World Trigger 1st Season.

Toei Animation, the studio behind the 2nd and 3rd seasons, will continue as the production studio, aiming to deliver an enhanced and polished retelling of the series’ foundational arcs.

The official account also noted that additional announcements regarding the REBOOT Project will be revealed at Jump Festa 2026.
