Starting from today's broadcast, the TV anime "Crayon Shin-chan" (TV Asahi, every Sunday at 4:30 PM) will air a special project titled "Freestyle Shin-chan: The Rappers of Kasukabe" in a three-part series over the next three weeks. In the episode airing on the 22nd, voice actress Ayako Kawasumi, who plays Ai-chan, will take on the challenge of rapping for the first time.

Continuing from the highly popular previous two series, the story shifts dramatically from its usual world to a parallel world, "Kasukabe City," where all conflicts are resolved through rap battles.

In this special project, the group heads towards their destination, "Buriburi Tower," where DJ Buriburi is said to be, but something seems different this time. Will Shin-chan and his friends be able to find his missing sister, Himawari? They must defeat formidable opponents in rap battles to reach DJ Buriburi, who holds the key to their quest. The mysterious DJ Buriburi, Kazama (the leader of the team "The New Wind of Kasukabe City"), Nene (from "Boss Rabbits"), Masao (from "Dangerous"), Bo (from "B-RocK"), and the female rap trio "Baribari Girls" (Kaoru, Ami, and Kumi) will all make appearances.

As the series progresses, it continues to garner more fans. In today's episode, Kazama and his team reach "Buriburi Tower," where the security seems unusually lax. Suddenly, "The Alluring Upbeat Magician" MC Peapari (voiced by Ayumu Murase), the tower's guardian, appears. Masao from "Dangerous" faces off against him in a rap battle.

In the episode airing on the 8th, Ayumu Murase, known for his role as Shoyo Hinata in "Haikyuu!!," performs a rap as MC Peapari. In the episode airing on the 15th, Genichiro Sakata, known as "The Steel Meat Rock," makes his appearance. Takaya Kuroda, who plays Kiryu Kazuma in the "Yakuza" game series and Rei Amayado in "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-," voices Sakata. With his muscular physique and high-skilled muscle rap, he challenges Nene as the tower's guardian. The unexpected outcome of their heated battle is not to be missed.

In the episode airing on the 22nd, the strongest female rapper, Ai-chan, stands in Shin-chan's way. With her beautiful appearance, condescending polite language, and queen-like character, Kazama and Bo from "B-RocK" are nearly knocked out. The fierce one-on-one battle between Shin-chan and Ai-chan is a highlight, leading to the eventual appearance of DJ Buriburi. Expectations are high for the rap scene featuring Ayako Kawasumi, known for her roles as Nodame in "Nodame Cantabile" and Saber in the "Fate" series, who voices Ai-chan.
