My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON Passes the Torch to Vigilante Koichi in New Collaborative Anime CM Featuring First-Ever Footage

Anime My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON and the official spin off My Hero Academia: Vigilantes have released a collaborative anime commercial that features newly unveiled footage from the upcoming Vigilante Season2. The CM begins with memorable scenes of Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo from the FINAL SEASON before seamlessly transitioning to Koichi and other characters from Vigilante, creating a relay style handoff from the main series to its spin off.

The collaborative video connects iconic moments of Izuku and Bakugo to Koichi’s world, symbolically passing the baton from My Hero Academia to Vigilante. The Vigilante portion includes newly animated sequences from Season Two, marking the first time these scenes have been publicly shown. The result is a stirring promotional video that captures the shared spirit and emotional continuity of the two titles.



On December 7, a “My Hero Academia × Vigilante Special Talk Show” will be held at Tokyo Comic Con 2025 in Chiba’s Makuhari Messe. During the stage event, the latest promotional video featuring extensive new footage from Vigilante Season Two, along with the new key visual, will be unveiled for the first time.

Overview of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes

Created by writer Hideyuki Furuhashi and artist Betten Court, the manga ran on the Shonen Jump Plus app from 2017 to 2022 and was collected in fifteen volumes. Set several years before the events of the main My Hero Academia storyline, the series follows unlicensed heroes known as Vigilantes who act without recognition but are compelled to save others. Their stories depict the hidden struggles behind the hero society portrayed in the main series.

About My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is set in a world where supernatural abilities known as Quirks are commonplace. The story follows protagonist Izuku Midoriya as he trains at U.A. High School to become a professional hero and confronts villains who misuse their Quirks. The manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014 and concluded on August 5, 2024. With over one hundred million copies in circulation worldwide, the franchise has become a major global hit. The television anime began in April 2016, has produced multiple seasons and films, and is currently airing its eighth and final season.
