My Hero Academia Final Season Episode 9 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Only 3 Episodes Left as the Epilogue Visual “Izuku Midoriya” Drops
The story and preview images for Episode 9 (overall Episode 168) of the TV anime My Hero Academia Final Season (JP: 僕のヒーローアカデミア FINAL SEASON) have been released. The episode will air on Saturday, November 29 at 5:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms. Ahead of the broadcast, an “Epilogue Visual: Izuku Midoriya,” the episode synopsis, preview images, and a 30-second trailer were unveiled on November 27.

Episode 9 Story
Beginning with Episode 9 of the Final Season, the series enters its epilogue. The newly released visual, captioned “This is My Hero Academia,” shows Deku gazing firmly ahead with a refreshed expression. Having defeated All For One with the support of Class 1-A, fellow Heroes, and people across the world, Deku’s journey reaches its conclusion.
The episode depicts society’s collective efforts to rebuild in the aftermath of the final battle. At U.A. High School, a graduation ceremony is held for third-year students including Mirio Togata. Meanwhile, Shoto Todoroki faces his family and his brother Dabi—also known as Toya Todoroki. The long-running emotional conflict within the Todoroki family, a central theme throughout the series, finally reaches true closure following their fierce confrontation in Season 7.

About My Hero Academia
Based on the best-selling manga by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2014 to 2024, My Hero Academia depicts a world where superpowers known as Quirks are commonplace. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, a boy born without a Quirk who dreams of becoming a hero. Under the mentorship of the Symbol of Peace, All Might, he enrolls at U.A. High School to train alongside his classmates to protect society from those who would use their powers for evil.
The anime first aired in 2016 and has continued through seven seasons. The Final Season marks the eighth and concluding chapter of the TV adaptation.
