The anime Hell’s Paradise will return with Season 2, and the newly revealed main visual highlights Gabimaru together with ten other characters, forming a total lineup of eleven. This new illustration, drawn by MAPPA, marks the latest development as excitement builds for the upcoming season. Hell’s Paradise Season 2 is scheduled to air in Japan from January 11, 2026, every Sunday at 11:45 PM. International streaming will follow after the Japanese broadcast.

Based on the manga by Yuji Kaku, Hell's Paradise is a dark fantasy series that has surpassed 6.4 million copies in circulation. Season 1 aired in 2023 and quickly became a major hit worldwide.

To commemorate the broadcast announcement, MAPPA has released a newly illustrated main visual. Eleven central characters including Gabimaru, Sagiri, Yuzuriha, and others gather as they are watched from above by the enigmatic Rien of the Lord Tensen. The artwork hints at the intense battles against the Tensen that await the cast in Season 2. The official website has also been redesigned to match the updated key visual.

New character visuals have been revealed as well, featuring Shugen, Jikka, Kiyomaru, Isuzu, and other figures who newly arrive on the island in Season 2. In addition, adorable deformed mini character illustrations have been unveiled, with special projects using the mini characters currently underway.

For viewers who want a quick refresher on the story, a fifteen-minute compilation video titled Hell's Paradise in 15 Minutes has been released on YouTube. The narration is provided by Kenji Nomura, making it easy for newcomers to grasp the world and characters.

In Season 2, the story follows Gabimaru’s group as they reach the stronghold of the Tensen in their pursuit of the fabled Elixir of Life. Under orders from the shogunate, they join forces with Shugen and other newly arrived Yamada Asaemon executioners. With the Tensen preparing for all-out confrontation, the long-awaited human versus Tensen conflict finally erupts.
