Hell’s Paradise Season 2 Reveals Returning Cast Comments and New Character Visuals by MAPPA

The upcoming second season of the TV anime Hell’s Paradise, set to air in January 2026, has unveiled cast comments from returning voice actors Chikahiro Kobayashi (Shion), Makoto Koichi (Nurugai), Tetsu Inada (Tamiya Gantetsusai), Aoi Ichikawa (Fuchi), and Konomi Kohara (Mei). Alongside their messages, MAPPA has released newly illustrated character visuals.

Based on the manga serialized on Shonen Jump+ from 2018 to 2021, Hell’s Paradise is a dark ninja fantasy set at the end of the Edo period. The story follows Gabimaru, a feared shinobi captured as a rogue ninja, who is offered freedom if he retrieves the “Elixir of Immortality” said to exist on a mythical island. Accompanied by Sagiri, an executioner of the Yamada Asaemon clan, he ventures into a deadly paradise teeming with criminals and monstrous beings.

The manga series has surpassed 6.4 million copies in circulation, and the first season aired from April to July 2023. An original mobile game adaptation is also in development.
