The new anime film Expelled from Paradise: Resonance from the Heart, the latest entry in the Expelled from Paradise series, is set to premiere on November 13, 2026. The announcement comes with the release of a new promotional video and key visual introducing new characters, along with confirmation of the main cast featuring Ayane Sakura, Saori Hayami, Yoshino Aoyama, and Sally Amaki. The film follows the legacy of the series, with the keyword Expelled from Paradise appearing early in this report.

Released in theaters on November 15, 2014, Expelled from Paradise marked the first original theatrical collaboration between Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus and director Seiji Mizushima. Set in the year 2400, where humanity has abandoned physical bodies and Earth to live in the virtual world DEVA, the film blended high-concept sci fi with dynamic full 3DCG action.

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, a limited two week revival screening titled Expelled from Paradise - Impelled by 10th Anniversary was held from November 15, 2024, featuring a 4K up converted version in thirty four theaters nationwide. Building on that milestone, Expelled from Paradise: Resonance from the Heart will arrive in 2026, reuniting core staff including director Seiji Mizushima, screenwriter Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus, character designer Masatsugu Saito, and composer NARASAKI to depict a new chapter beyond the original story.

Ayane Sakura stars as Gabriel, a third class agent of the Security Bureau. Saori Hayami voices Arma, Yoshino Aoyama plays Daniel, and Sally Amaki takes on the role of Raguel, an officer of the Environmental Survey Bureau. All four roles were determined through auditions.
