New “Jujutsu Kaisen” Film Issues Warning Over Illegal Recording, Uploading Images or Videos “Constitutes Copyright Infringement”
The official “Jujutsu Kaisen” account has issued a warning following reports of illegally recorded images and videos from the theatrical feature Jujutsu Kaisen: The Shibuya Incident Special Edition × The Culling Game Advance Screening, released on November 7.

This special double feature presents a re-edited version of the explosive “Shibuya Incident” arc ( one of the most intense battles in the series’ history) and offers a world-premiere screening of the first two episodes from the highly anticipated Season 3, The Culling Game – Part 1. The appearance of the new character Naoya Zen’in has generated significant attention online.

The official statement reads:
The illegally recorded images and video footage of the current screening of “JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution” has been found on the internet.
Filming a movie inside a theater is a crime under the Law for Prevention of Unauthorized Recording of Films (Film Piracy Prevention Law).
In addition, uploading such unauthorized recordings to platforms like X, YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook constitutes copyright infringement.
If copyright infringement occurs in violation of the Film Piracy Prevention Law or the Copyright Act, penalties may include up to 10 years imprisonment, or a fine of up to 10 million yen, or both.
To ensure everyone can enjoy the movie safely, we kindly ask you to refrain from any unauthorized recording, posting or sharing. Thank you for your cooperation.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy series that follows high school student Yuji Itadori, who becomes entangled in the world of cursed spirits after unsealing a powerful cursed object. Based on the manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, the series has over 100 million copies in circulation.
The first season aired from October 2020 to March 2021, followed by the feature film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in December 2021, which grossed 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season aired from July to December 2023, and the upcoming third season, Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game – Part 1, will premiere in January 2026.
