A stage greeting for Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident Special Edition × Culling Game Advance Screening was held in Tokyo on November 7. During the event, it was revealed that Koji Yusa will voice Naoya Zen’in, a character whose casting had been kept secret until now. The audience reacted with gasps and cheers when Yusa, whose appearance had not been announced in advance, took the stage wearing a formal black jacket. Smiling, he joked, “Well, I showed up after all,” and added, “Since Naoya is... well, you know how he is, I thought I should at least dress properly to make a better impression,” drawing laughter from the crowd.

Naoya Zen’in is a character known for leaving a powerful impression in the original manga. On X (formerly Twitter), both “Naoya’s voice actor” and “Naoya Zen’in” began trending around noon on November 7. When asked about the buzz, Yusa commented, “I’d been hoping they’d announce it sooner. I was nervous thinking, ‘What if everyone hates me for it?’”
