“Jujutsu Kaisen” Announces New Short Voice Drama “Juju Sanpo: The Movie Theater” Featuring Itadori, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki

To celebrate the release of the film Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident Special Edition × Culling Game Advance Screening (premiering November 7), a new short voice drama titled Juju Sanpo: The Movie Theater, based on Gege Akutami’s original concept, has been announced. Alongside the news, a special illustration drawn exclusively for this project has also been revealed.

The new visual depicts Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki in a cheerful atmosphere different from the main story. The short drama Juju Sanpo: The Movie Theater offers a comedic glimpse into their everyday lives at a movie theater setting.

In addition, an interview video featuring Junya Enoki, Yuma Uchida, and Asami Seto (who voice Itadori, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki respectively) was released, where they reflect on the anime’s fifth anniversary. Just like the lighthearted “Juju Sanpo” series, the interview captures their close chemistry built over the past five years.

Jujutsu Kaisen follows high school student Yuji Itadori, who becomes involved in the dark world of Curses after the seal on a powerful Cursed Object is broken. Based on Gege Akutami’s manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, the series has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation.

The first TV season aired from October 2020 to March 2021, followed by the hit film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in December 2021, which grossed 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season aired from July to December 2023, and the third season, Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 1, will premiere in January 2026.
