Based on Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen, which concluded its six-and-a-half-year serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), the manga has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation including digital editions. The TV anime’s first season aired from October 2020 to March 2021, followed by the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which achieved a worldwide box office gross of 26.5 billion yen. The second season, “Hidden Inventory / Shibuya Incident,” aired from July to December 2023, receiving tremendous acclaim worldwide. The excitement continues with the theatrical compilation film Jujutsu Kaisen The Movie: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death released on May 30, 2025, and the revival screening of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 on October 17. The much-anticipated third season, “Culling Game: Part 1,” will premiere in January 2026.

The newly released promo video opens with Yuji Itadori slamming his head into the ground, overcome with guilt for being unable to save others. Set to “more than words” by hitsujibungaku, the ending theme of the TV anime’s second season “Shibuya Incident,” the video showcases Yuji’s fierce clash with Choso and the life-or-death battle between Megumi Fushiguro and Toji Fushiguro.

It also features the intense struggles of Jujutsu High members such as Maki Zen’in, Toge Inumaki, Panda, and Aoi Todo, as well as Nanami, Mei Mei, and Nobara Kugisaki in their desperate confrontation with Mahito. Their determination and emotions lead them to face the greatest battle in jujutsu history. In the final moments, Yuta Okkotsu appears before Yuji, sword in hand, saying softly, “I’m sorry, Itadori-kun,” building anticipation for the upcoming Culling Game Advance Screening.

The film will also include the full versions of both the opening theme “SPECIALZ” by King Gnu and the ending theme “more than words” by hitsujibungaku from the “Shibuya Incident” arc, allowing audiences to experience them in a powerful cinematic soundscape.
As for the theater giveaways, the first item will be an A5-size visual board featuring original artwork of Yuji, Gojo, and Yuta drawn by author Gege Akutami, available from November 7 to commemorate the film’s release.

Additionally, on October 24, special “cheer screenings” for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be held across five major cities in Japan. A guide video explaining the rules for these screenings has been released online. The video, narrated by the special grade vengeful cursed spirit Rika Orimoto, uses footage from the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Revival Screening to introduce six key “cheering guidelines.” The footage features scenes such as Rika bursting out of a school building, Yuta being struck by Maki’s wooden sword on the training grounds, and Rika appearing in a classroom to defend Yuta from bullies—leaving Yuta, Maki, Toge, and Panda in a state of panic.
