Occupying approximately 2.6 hectares of newly redeveloped land, PokéPark Kanto consists of two main zones: “Pokémon Forest”, where visitors can observe Pokémon habitats in a lush natural setting, and “Kayatsuri Town”, a bustling trainers’ area filled with attractions, shops, and meet-and-greet events.

The park’s concept draws inspiration from the Kanto region, the setting of the very first Pokémon games Pokémon Red and Green (1996), and from Yomiuriland’s location amid the green Tama Hills of the real-world Kanto area.

In Pokémon Forest, guests can traverse about 500 meters of forest trails featuring uneven paths, grassy fields, tunnels, and slopes while discovering Pokémon native to the Kanto region. Kayatsuri Town welcomes visitors with a fountain shaped like Primarina (Ashirene), along with a Pokémon Center, a Friendly Shop, a Trainers’ Market packed with goods, a Gym, and two attractions—making it a lively destination for Pokémon Trainers of all ages.

Two ticket types will be offered: Elite Trainer Pass and Trainer Pass, both granting access to Yomiuriland. Due to safety measures, entry to Pokémon Forest will be restricted for children under five, their accompanying guardians, and individuals unable to climb the 110-step staircase—even if assisted. A Town Pass granting access only to Kayatsuri Town will become available for summer 2026 admissions.
