The long-awaited 5th season of the anime “Minami-ke (JP: みなみけ)” has been officially titled “Minami-ke: Korekara.” This marks the first new TV anime in the series since the 4th season aired in 2013.

The title announcement was made during an event held at Theater Mixa in Tokyo on November 1. On the official X account, the production team shared, “The subtitle for the TV anime ‘Minami-ke’ Season 5 has been decided! It’s ‘Minami-ke: Korekara.’ Thank you for continuing to support Minami-ke!”

Based on the manga serialized in Weekly Young Magazine since 2004, Minami-ke depicts the everyday life of the three Minami sisters—Haruka, the responsible eldest; Kana, the mischievous middle child; and Chiaki, the sharp-tongued youngest. The series has been adapted into four TV seasons so far: 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2013, and remains a cornerstone of slice-of-life anime.
