The protagonist, Goro, a gynecologist, meets his idolized star Ai Hoshino, but after a certain event, Goro dies and is reincarnated as Ai's child. This marks the beginning of his journey in the same industry as hers. The original manga, created by Aka Akasaka, known for "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War," has won several awards, including first place in the comics category of the "Next Manga Award 2021." The anime adaptation, which has delved into the lives of idols, actors, directors, and other behind-the-scenes staff, was broadcast from April to June 2023. The opening theme "Idol" by YOASOBI has achieved significant success, including topping the "Oricon Weekly Digital Single (Single Track) Ranking" and "Oricon Weekly Streaming Ranking," marking a societal phenomenon. A live-action adaptation is set to be released this winter, with the drama series exclusively streaming on Amazon's Prime Video worldwide and the movie being distributed by Toei.
