The anime Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation Season 1, “Episode of Heartslabyul,” will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ on October 29. A new character PV focusing on Yuken Enman, a high school student who finds himself lost in another world, has been released. Disney also announced that from October 21, character PVs spotlighting key figures from Season 1 will be unveiled for eight consecutive days.

The first PV introduces Yuken (voiced by Yohei Azakami), a high schooler who suddenly wanders into a magical academy called Night Raven College. Set to the opening theme “Piece of my world” by Night Ravens, the video depicts Yuken’s encounter with a mysterious black carriage and his confusion when meeting the academy’s headmaster, Dire Crowley, exclaiming, “I can’t use magic!”

The video also showcases various scenes from Yuken’s school life, where he faces strange events alongside first-year students Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade from Heartslabyul Dorm, as well as Grim, a monster aspiring to become a magician. Despite being unable to use magic, Yuken boldly takes on challenges with his friends. The latter half shows him wearing kendo armor, gripping a bamboo sword with determination, hinting at upcoming battles and personal growth to be revealed in the full series.

Upcoming character PVs on Disney+’s official social media accounts will feature Grim, the students of Heartslabyul Dorm, and Dire Crowley, providing further insight into the world of Twisted-Wonderland.

Inspired by the iconic villains of Disney’s classic works, Twisted-Wonderland is a dark fantasy anime that reimagines their charm through new characters. Based on the game created by manga artist Yana Toboso ( known for Black Butler) who also handled the main scenario and character design, the series has captivated fans with its unique blend of magical academy storytelling and Disney’s signature essence.

Following the first season “Episode of Heartslabyul,” production has been confirmed for Season 2 “Episode of Savanaclaw” and Season 3 “Episode of Octavinelle.”
