The story and preview images for Episode 3 of the TV anime My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's (JP: 暗殺者である俺のステータスが勇者よりも明らかに強いのだが) have been revealed. This episode will air on Tuesday, October 21 at 1:30 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode3 Story

The boss of the 80th floor, which Akira and Amelia had defeated in their joint battle, reveals its true form. The monster, known as the Black Cat, carries a message from the Demon King addressed to Akira. After delivering the message, the Black Cat demands to be killed, saying its role is over. Akira refuses, but the chamber’s doors will remain sealed unless the monster dies, dooming everyone to starvation.

The only possible way out is through a master–servant contract. During the deadly ritual, where failure means certain death, Akira glimpses into the depths of the Black Cat’s heart.

Introduction
