Episode 2 Story

Arthur, who was assigned to serve at a high-society party, finds himself unexpectedly exhausted due to his dislike of people and his overly serious nature. Seeking relief, he opens up to the only one he trusts his mechanical maid, Marie.

Meanwhile, ever since Arthur confided in her, Marie has been feeling a strange pounding in her chest, causing her to make one mistake after another. In the midst of the event, she notices an assassin targeting Arthur and successfully neutralises the threat.

Although Marie apologises for disrupting the party, Arthur gently praises her, whispering, “You’re just like a human girl.” Overwhelmed by his words, Marie runs away from him in confusion.
