Down there, he meets the Cleaners and comes face-to-face with terrifying Trash Beasts born from garbage.

Amo’s Appearance and Personality

Amo

Amo from Gachiakuta EP12

Amo is shown as a girl with long black hair. When she first appears, her clothing is extremely revealing, to the point that it looks like she's wearing only underwear. Enjin even blurts out, "Please put on some clothes," in reaction to her appearance.

If her personality could be described in one word, it would be menhera (a Japanese slang term often used for someone who struggles with unstable emotions, tends to depend heavily on men, or sometimes causes trouble to get attention). Amo really wants to be loved. In fact, she's so desperate for it that she can be pretty mean to those who don't return her affection. There's a pretty shocking moment when her mom introduces her to a smuggler who bought her, and Amo just beams and asks, "Do you really like me that much?" The scene hints at the deep darkness she carries within.

She also has a strong disdain for anyone who "doesn't understand a woman's heart." When Enjin commented on her lack of clothing, she got mad. When it comes to her ideal guy, she's into those with a bold fragrance. In fact, smell plays a big role in her abilities and is central to her character.

■Tragic Past and Emotional Scars

Amo grew up in the slums. But her mom, desperate for cash and drugs, sold her to a smuggler through human trafficking. Amo was really affected by the fact that her mom left her, and it left her feeling broken. She cried until there were no more tears, and eventually lost the ability to feel emotions altogether.

She ended up living with the smuggler in the castle of The Desert No Man's Land Penta. At first glance, it seemed like she was living a life of plenty, with picture books, clothes, and food. But really, she was being brainwashed through "a certain ritual." The details aren't super clear, but it sounds like it was some kind of abuse.

When Amo said her heart would race during these experiences, the man told her, "That's love." Because of that, she thought the abuse was just part of the romance. This messed up her idea of love and left deep scars that still shape her character.

Watchman Series Boots

■Gaining the Watchman Series Boots and Her First Murder

The Watchman Series boots that Amo now owns originally belonged to the smuggler. One day, a mysterious masked figure visited the castle, took the boots from the man, and handed them to Amo, saying, “These suit you better.” The figure added, “Keep them until the time comes,” then flew off into the sky. Amo described this stranger as an “angel.”

Later, a heated argument broke out between Amo and the smuggler over the ownership of the boots. The confrontation ended with Amo pushing him from the upper floors of the castle, killing him.

Amo’s Abilities and Fighting Style

Amo

Amo from Gachiakuta EP13

Amo's Vital Instrument is a pair of boots, part of the Watchman Series. At first, they look like just any old boots, but they have a dangerous ability that lets her control people.

The power is triggered by the "smell" that the boots release. If you breathe it in, you're stuck reliving happy memories with someone you used to love. These visions feel totally real, so much so that the victim might mistake Amo herself for their beloved.

This immense power creates major headaches for the Cleaners. Delmon is sure he's seeing his dearest one. Rudo, caught up in the illusion, mistakes Amo for Chiwa and tries to protect her, even going so far as to attack Zanka and Tamsy. Those under the boots' influence might not think straight, and they could end up fighting each other, which could lead to a deadly situation.

■Conditions and Weaknesses

1. Exposure to the scent:
The illusion only works if the target breathes in the scent. Wearing a gas mask cancels the effect. To bypass this, Amo tricks others into removing their masks by saying things like, “I don’t like not being able to see your face.”

2. Both boots must be present
When Enjin seized one of the boots, Amo was unable to use the ability.
