The beloved anime series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha will return with a brand new TV anime, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance, scheduled to air in 2026. This marks the franchise’s first completely new installment in eight years since the 2018 theatrical release Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation.

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance
The newly unveiled key visual depicts a lone girl standing in a ruined city, clutching a gun, with what appears to be a corpse behind her. In the teaser footage, fans can hear the voice of long-time protagonist Nanoha Takamachi, as well as a new girl declaring with determination, “I will live in this world. So that the hands we hold will never be torn apart.” Details on this mysterious new character and her cast will be revealed at a later date.
The series is written and created by Maki Tsuzuki, with animation by Seven Arcs, the studio long associated with the franchise. The core staff includes:
