The final volume features the "new party" of Frieren, her apprentice Fern, and the warrior Stark. The visual is striking, reminiscent of the final scene from episode 28, "It Would Be Embarrassing When We Met Again," which is included in this volume.

"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" Blu-ray & DVD will be released in seven volumes. Each volume includes first-press limited edition bonuses such as setting materials, interviews, a 24-page booklet, a newly illustrated replica colored paper by Tsukasa Abe, and a set of 10 illustration & original art postcards. Additionally, those who purchase all volumes will receive a manufacturer bonus of an all-volume storage box featuring illustrations of all eight characters.

"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is based on the manga of the same name serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" since April 2020. The story is a "post-epic fantasy" depicting the aftermath of the hero's party that defeated the Demon King. It follows the elf mage Frieren as she embarks on new adventures with her new companions in a world without the hero.

Set in the innovative timeline of "after the Demon King's defeat," the series captures readers with its poignant drama and dialogue, battles involving magic and swords, and humor that elicits laughter. The story woven by its characters has garnered many fans. It won the Grand Prize at the "Manga Taisho 2021," and the manga has surpassed 21 million copies in circulation. The TV anime aired from September 2023 to March 2024.
