The official X (formerly Twitter) for the manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" has been updated, releasing animated scene cuts featuring the character Fern.

The release includes four images showcasing Fern’s grumpy face, which have collectively captured the hearts of fans. Responses from fans include comments like "I could live off this alone," "After seeing the third one, I died a noble death," "Love all of them," and "Is the second one really a grumpy face?" The original manga, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" since April 2020, follows the post-adventure lives of a hero's party after defeating a demon lord, offering a "sequel fantasy" narrative. It centers on the elf mage Frieren who, in the absence of the hero, embarks on new adventures with new companions. With its unique post-demon lord victory timeline, the series delivers poignant drama, memorable quotes, magical and sword battles, and unexpected humor, weaving a story that has captured many readers.
