The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" has been updated with a collaboration illustration featuring the popular manga "Detective Conan."

The illustration depicts Frieren holding Conan-kun, a rare image showing an endearing moment between the two characters.

This illustration was part of a unique project for the covers of "Weekly Shonen Sunday" magazine's September 2023 issue, where connecting two consecutive issues forms one complete image. Fans have enthusiastically responded, "Truly a divine collaboration from Sunday!" "I thought they were about the same height LOL," "Such a wonderful combination," and "Typical of Lady Frieren to effortlessly carry an elementary school student with just the strength of her arms."

"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" since April 2020, based on the same-named original work. It narrates the post-adventure lives of a hero's party after defeating a demon lord, exploring new adventures with new companions led by the elf mage Frieren in a world without the hero.

The series, which unfolds in an innovative timeline post-demon lord defeat, has captured many readers with its heart-piercing drama, memorable quotes, magical and sword fights, and spontaneous humor.
