Tokyo Disney Resort Announces Christmas Celebration. Disney Christmas Returns in Full Splendor

Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will hold the 45-day “Disney Christmas” celebration, also featuring special programs at Disney Hotels, the Disney Resort Line, and Ikspiari. The details were announced today, September 9.

New Parade at Tokyo Disneyland

At Tokyo Disneyland, the parade has been renewed for the first time in a decade with “Toy’s Wonderous Christmas!” From Santa’s Toy Factory, toys brought to life join Mickey Mouse and friends for a joyful and magical performance. At Tokyo DisneySea, the “Disney Christmas Greeting” will take place at Mediterranean Harbor with Mickey, Duffy, Santa Claus, and others, while the American Waterfront will feature atmospheric entertainment. Both parks will showcase Christmas trees, festive goods, themed menus, and evening fireworks “Starlight Christmas.”

Festive Programs Across the Resort
Disney Hotels will offer seasonal menus, decorations, and illuminations. The Disney Resort Line will sell original design tickets, while Ikspiari will be decorated with Christmas trees and lights for a festive shopping and dining experience.

The parade tells the story of toys created by Santa and his elves to grant children’s wishes. With nutcracker bands, toy decorations, and festive music, the performance culminates in a heartwarming Christmas finale.

Tokyo Disneyland will feature a Christmas edition of the “Electrical Parade Dreamlights” and the fireworks show “Starlight Christmas.”

Decorations

World Bazaar (Tokyo Disneyland) and American Waterfront (Tokyo DisneySea) will feature 15-meter Christmas trees. Cinderella Castle will be decorated with “Toy’s Wonderous Christmas!” motifs, while Mediterranean Harbor will have new illuminated tree decorations, creating a romantic nighttime atmosphere.

Country Bear Theater will present “Jingle Bell Jamboree” (Nov 1, 2025 – Jan 12, 2026).
Haunted Mansion will feature “Holiday Nightmare” (Sept 16, 2025 – Jan 12, 2026).

Special Goods

Special “Disney Christmas” merchandise will be sold from Nov 10, featuring Mickey and friends preparing for Christmas and the fairy “Lil’ Rinrin.” Items include sweaters, plush shoulder bags, headbands, and parade-themed plush badges.

Special Menus

From Nov 1, Christmas-inspired menus will be offered.
Tokyo Disneyland: Refreshment Corner, Grandma Sara’s Kitchen, and Ice Cream Cone (with a chocolate sundae featuring popcorn and churros).
Tokyo DisneySea: Horizon Bay Restaurant and Cafe Portofino (featuring roast beef and grilled beef sets).

Vacation Packages
Certain packages will offer reserved seating for “Toy’s Wonderous Christmas!” or special Christmas dining experiences at Horizon Bay Restaurant.

Disney Hotels

From Nov 1 – Dec 25, Ambassador Hotel, Hotel MiraCosta, and Disneyland Hotel will serve themed menus, while all hotels will feature decorations and illuminations from Nov 11. Some menus include exclusive charms and coasters.

Disney Resort Line & Ikspiari

The Resort Line will run Christmas-themed trains, introduce its first stamp rally, and sell limited tickets and souvenir medals. At Ikspiari, a live Christmas tree will return to Celebration Plaza, with festive decorations, gifts, and limited seasonal menus.
