The world’s largest anisong live event, Animelo Summer Live 2025 “ThanXX!” (commonly known as Anisama), was held at Saitama Super Arena over three days from August 29 to 31. The event lasted a total of 15 hours across three days, featuring 116 artists from 50 groups, who performed an impressive total of 181 songs. The event attracted a record-breaking crowd of 87,000 people — the largest audience in Anisama history.

Anisama began in 2005 with Animelo Summer Live 2005 -THE BRIDGE- and has been held annually as the world’s biggest anisong event (with some editions postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic). This year marked the 20th anniversary of the event, and it featured a stellar lineup including Eir Aoi, TRUE, Masayoshi Ōishi, JAM Project, GRANRODEO, TrySail, Mamoru Miyano, FLOW, Hiroko Moriguchi, Ave Mujica, angela, Nana Mizuki, Chihiro Yonekura, Kiyoshi Hikawa, and LiSA, all of whom fired up the crowd.
