On August 24, composer Yuki Kajiura concluded her national tour Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#21 60 Songs at Omiya Sonic City Main Hall in Saitama. During the final show, LiSA made an unannounced appearance and performed “Shine in the Cruel Night,” the theme for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc: Part 1 - Akaza Returns, live for the first time.

During the encore segment of the final concert, LiSA took the stage as a surprise guest. She performed two songs: her well-known hit “Homura” from Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc and “Shine in the Cruel Night,” the theme for the latest Demon Slayer film installment. This marked the first-ever live performance of the new theme song, which was composed by Yuki Kajiura. The surprise appearance energized the crowd and added a dramatic highlight to the final night.

Yuki Kajiura’s 60-Song Tour Marks 32nd Year and Milestone Birthday

The tour, which began in Osaka on July 26, featured 10 performances across four cities. In celebration of her 32nd year in the music industry and her 60th birthday, Kajiura presented 60 songs in total—matching her age to the number of pieces performed, including selections from her Soundtrack Special shows. The performances showcased her extensive work as a composer across anime, film, and other media.

Guest Artists Bring Variety to the Stage

Each show featured different guest performers, with ASCA, JUNNA, and KOKIA—also part of her past Budokan event Kaji Fes.—appearing on rotation. Emiko Suzuki, known for her solo work and musical appearances, joined the tour as a guest for the first time, participating in every show. These artists added vocal variety and emotional depth throughout the tour, culminating in a collaborative final performance where all guest vocalists returned to the stage.

New Song by FictionJunction feat. KAORI Also Debuts

A new track by FictionJunction featuring KAORI, titled “Glowing Inside the Drawer,” was released digitally on August 23, just one day before the final concert. Known to fans of Kajiura’s live shows, KAORI brought the mellow, mid-tempo ballad to life during its live debut, adding a gentle, reflective moment to the summer’s concluding performance.
